Global Economic Crisis and the Emergence of the Renewable Energy Technologies

Recent economic crisis had devastating impact on global markets with unprecedented cumulative losses in trillions of dollars, 4 to 0.5 % drop in the real growth and 33 countries declaring official recession. The aim of this talk to analyze the effects of  global recession from the point of view of three sectors: transportation, heavy industry and energy. Emergence of the renewable energy technology in developing countries will be addressed as a special topic with emphasis on the wind power.
