Dr. MERİH PASİN
Merih Pasin holds over 30 international patents, and has over 20 years of corporate experience on innovative project management, intellectual property rights, new business development with multi-cultural project teams. He has also been participating to meetings and events as a keynote speaker on relevant topics.
Merih Pasin has received his doctorate degree in Aerospace Engineering at the University of Cincinnati. During his PhD studies, he delivered research projects for companies such as General Electric Aerospace Division, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls Royce Jet Propulsion Division, and US Department of Energy.
After returning to Turkey, he joined the Arcelik Research & Development Center and managed the Washing Technology Department. He led projects on energy management and initiated the “Eco Label” program. He also actively participated in the program of Intellectual Property Rights and secured his project outcomes as International Patents.
Following his work in Arcelik R&D, he moved on to join the Research & Development Department of Procter & Gamble Innovation Center in Brussels. He worked 14 years in various business units where he managed multi national innovation projects to deliver new to the world products.
He is currently working as Managing Director at Inovent, which is the technology commercialization and accelerator center of Sabanci University. He is also lecturer in Sabancı University, consultant, trainer and mentor in the areas of New Product Development, Technology and Innovation Management, and Change Management.
