Undergraduate students at all levels can apply and they will be selected according to projects’ requirements and the background of the applicant. The goal of the program is to introduce undergraduate students to real research problems early in their studies. Selected undergraduate fellows will work closely with a faculty member and his/her postdocs, graduate students on a specified project.
Why do a PURE project?
Developing the ability to investigate problems, make judgments on the basis of sound evidence, take decisions on a rational basis, and understand what they are doing and why it is vital.
Research and inquiry are not just for those who choose to pursue an academic career.
