Self-aware Networks and Quality of Service

The Internet that has become so dominant in today's business, society, and science is an "old" technology whose design is based on concepts that were developed thirty years ago. Our networking research is directed at identifying some changes that can take place in the Internet infrastructure based on concepts and methods that have emerged from the field of computer science and enginering.
