New Course for 2013-14 Spring Semester: CS 582 Special Topics in Computer Science Readings in Opinion Mining

Haleh Abdizadeh PhD candidate in the Materials Science and Engineering Program received the Best Poster Presentation Award in a recent conference on scientific computation 2013 (CSC2013) held on 3-7 December 2013 in Paphos Cyprus. The prize also constitutes monetary contribution for use towards any other scientific meeting of her choice.

Volkan Patoglu has been selected to serve as an associate editor for IEEE Transactions on Haptics a scholarly archival journal addressing the science technology and applications associated with information acquisition and object manipulation through touch. IEEE Transactions on Haptics is published quarterly by IEEE Robotics and Automation IEEE Consumer Electronics and IEEE Computer Societies.

Yeni yıl nedeniyle 31 Aralık 2013 salı günü saat 14.00dan sonra ders yapılmayacaktır.

Türkiye'nin ilk insansı robotu suralp TÜBİTAK desteğiyle geliştirildi. Dans gösterisi yapan boş kutuyu çöpe atan suralp şimdilik sorulara başını sallıyor. 1 milyon dolara mal olan robot yakında konuşacak.

Türkiyenin en prestijli bilim ödülleri olan TÜBİTAK 48. Bilim Ödülleri Cumhurbaşkanı Abdullah Gül'ün himayesinde Çankaya Köşkü'nde düzenlenen törenle sahiplerini buldu.
