A New Course Announcement: Fundamentals of Video Compression and Networking (Fall 2012)

This is a 3-credit course that focuses on video compression and networking. Topics to be covered include: introduction to video systems, Fourier analysis of video signals, properties of the human visual system, motion estimation, basic video compression techniques and standards, networking issues, video watermarking and data hiding.
