Best Paper Award for FENS Electronics Engineering PhD Student

FENS Electronics Engineering PhD student Mehdi Salehi Heyder Abad together with his co-authors D. Gunduz and O. Ercetin are awarded the Best Paper Award of the MAC and Cross-Layer Design Track at the IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC) 2016, for their paper titled “Energy Harvesting Wireless Networks with Correlated Energy Sources.”  WCNC is one of the core annual conferences of IEEE Communications Society with over 900 submissions every year.  His work is supported in part by a grant from Tubitak Katip Celebi-British Council Newton fund.
