Participants Needed for Neurofeedback Research
The Brain-Computer Interfaces research group of the Signal Processing and Information Systems Laboratory (http://spis.sabanciuniv.edu) is looking for male and female volunteers to participate in a series of experiments that involve recording the electroencephalographic (EEG) activity of the brain and conducting a number of neurofeedback experiments.
Our main aim with this experiment is to optimize neurofeedback methodologies to improve the dyslexic children with the help of signal processing and brain computer interfaces. We need your participation for developing an effective and optimized neurofeedback application for dyslexic children. Data collection will be performed through passive electrodes placed outside the head (eMotiv EPOC+) and involves no risks or major discomfort for the user. On the contrary, participants usually enjoy this experience as it provides an opportunity to control a computer with their own brain waves and learn more about their own cognitive skills. Each user will be asked to participate in a neurofeedback session of 60 minutes.
Interested undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and staff are kindly requested to contact Gunet Eroglu guneteroglu@sabanciuniv.edu to get more information and to schedule a recording session.
