Success of our Undergraduate Student

Muhammed Kerem Kahraman, a junior in CS, has given a talk on his paper “Personalized Course Schedule Planning using Answer Set Programming” at PADL 2019. He has been awarded a Travel Grant by the Association of Logic Programming.

Muhammed Kerem Kahraman, a junior in CS, has given a talk (30min presentation) on his paper “Personalized Course Schedule Planning using Answer Set Programming” at the 21st International Symposium on Practical Aspects of Declarative Languages (PADL 2019, Lisbon). He has been awarded a Travel Grant by the Association of Logic Programming for his success. The abstract of his paper is attached below. Kerem started working on this project when he was a freshman. As part of a PURE project, he is currently developing a mobile app (called SUcheduler) with his friends Gürhan Elçiçek and Mert Ertörer, based on the methods discussed in his paper.
