Design And Fabrication Of Micro End Mills For The Machining Of Difficult-To-Cut Materials

Workshop-I will take place on Monday during 19:40 - 21:30. Please find your venue attached to this announcement. All students registered to ENS 491 (or plant to register via petition) must attend to the workshop in their designated venue. Unattendance to workshop will result in 1 LGD to each student. Students who miss 2 out of 4 workshops will get a final grade of “F” (see student handbook for details).

Blood vessels, like our skin, have a remarkable ability to regenerate and repair themselves. Taking this inspiration, Dr. Jamal Zanjani and co-workers developed fiber-based composite materials that block the propagation of cracks.

Registration Quotas for the FENS courses below will be increased as following by the ADD/DROP period.

The course of "MAT 521 Tribology" will be offered by Mahmut Faruk Akşit. The students can registrer in add drop period.

ME 405 course has been opened for 2016-2017 fall semester.

FENS PhD student Arzu Özbey received travel grant from the Chemical and Biological Microsystems Society (CBMS) to present her study under the supervision of FENS faculty members Ali Koşar and Devrim Gozuacik titled “Focusing behavior of microparticles by means of inertial microfluidics in a symmetrical curvilinear microchannel”
