TUBA GEBIP Fellowships to FENS Faculty Members<br />

The winners of The Turkish Academy of Science’s The Young Scientists Award Programme (TUBA GEBIP) 2011  are
announced.

This
year, among the faculty members of
Sabancı University, Dr. Ali Koşar from Mechatronics Engineering  Program and Dr. Burç Mısırlıoğlu from Materials Science and Engineering  Program have been  rewarded.

The  TUBA- GEBIP programme aims to set up a kind
of Young Academy of scientists under the
age of 37. Aside from a grant provided for a period of three years, a
member of
the Academy is assigned as the mentor, and an environment of solidarity
and
interaction is created through joint meetings held with Academy members.Ali and  Burç will receive the award
in a ceremony on June 3, at the annual Academy Day in Istanbul.
