The Winners of Dr. Gürsel Sönmez Research Award
Dr. Gürsel Sönmez Research Award Committee has carefully evaluated the applications of 13 candidates (3 M.S. and 10 Ph.D), considering their research outcomes and references, as well as the nature of each discipline and the degree awarded (M.S./Ph.D) at the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences at Sabancı University.
Due to their achievements and contributions in their fields as summarized in our website the Committee has decided to give the award to four graduate students.
- Ahmad Reza Motezakker,Mechatronics Engineering MSc Program, is a graduate candidate of 2017- 2018 Academic year Spring semester.
- Behzad Sardari Ghojehbeiglou, Electronics Engineering Phd Program, is a graduate of 2016- 2017 Academic year Spring semester.
- Çağatay Yılmaz, Material Science and Engineering PhD Program, is a graduate candidate of 2017- 2018 Academic year Spring semester.
- Ebru Demir, Mechatronics Engineering PhD Program, is a graduate candidate of 2017- 2018 Academic year Spring semester.
The awards will be presented to our students at the Graduation Ceremony on 22nd of June, 2018.
