Sabancı Üniversitesi Mühendislik ve Doğa Bilimleri Fakültesi (MDBF) Öğretim Üyeleri Ogün Adebali, Lütfi Taner Tunç, Murat Kaya Yapıcı ve Yönetim Bilimleri Fakültesi Öğretim Üyesi Yiğit Atılgan, TÜBA (Türkiye Bilimler Akademisi) tarafından verilen 2021 yılı TÜBA-Üstün Başarılı Genç Bilim İnsanı Ödülleri’ne (GEBİP) layık görüldü.

As you may know, SIAM (Society of Industrial and Applied Mathematics) is a huge community comprising not only applied mathematics but also many disciplines such as data science, computer science, optimization. By forming a student chapter, SIAM provides students free membership and many facilities. We are looking for 5 undergraduate or graduate students to work in our HateSpeech detection project. The task involves learning what constitutes offensive language vs. hate speech and labelling tweets accordingly, using an easy to use interface.

Dr. Elitas ve grubunun “Nucleic Acid Extraction Methods and Technologies for On-Site Plant–Pathogen Diagnostics” calismasi ACS Agricultural Science & Technology dergisinde kapak sayfası olarak seçilmiştir. Dear Students, ENS 491 Graduation Project (Design) and ENS 492 Graduation Project (Implementation) courses are mandatory for FENS students as part of their graduation requirements.

Two undergraduate LAs are needed for CS 405: Computer Graphics. LAs are expected to attend weekly recitations to assist the teaching assistant and host office hours. Interested students can contact Alp Cihan from alpcihan@sabanciuniv.edu
