Open Structure Microsystems Assembly Workstation

This seminar intends to present basic data on the project "Open Structure Microsystems Assembly Workstation" including requirements, technical specification, structure of station and subsystems and challenges that lay ahead. The target of the project is to develop and deliver:

 - a machine which can execute controlled movement in nano range in at least 12 dof;

•- a machine which by change of fixtures and gripper can be applied for different micromanipulation tasks;

•- an open architecture system (hardware and software) to accommodate easy change of application;

Possible cooperation within SÜ in realization of such a machine will be discussed.
