E-Transformation in Learning Symposium
E-Transformation in Learning Symposium focuses on new learning
methods, distance education, vocational training and alternative
channels of learning enhanced with technology. Experts from
universities, from the industry, from the government, and from
non-governmental organisations will share their knowledge and
experience in e-Learning, learning content management value chains,
collaborative business models and development standards.
The emphasis will be on how universities and organisations can
collaborate in making e-Learning fully functional in development and
empowerment of the people - with all subgroups such as women, rural
population, people with disabilities and youth - in the areas of
education, training, value creation and democratic participation. While
over 30 presentations will be held in the symposium, companies and
universities will share their experiences at their stands in the
expositions area. Supported by the European Union EUMEDIS programme,
Turkish Informatics Foundation (TBV) and Turkish Informatics
Association’s Istanbul Branch (TBD-Istanbul), there will be nearly 30
overseas participants of this symposium from the United Kingdom,
Canada, Denmark and the Mediterranean countries and an overall 300 plus
expected participants from universities, company strategic or human
resources departments, IT companies, NGOs, chambers of commerce,
informatics trade unions and the government, as well as the membership
