FENS students receive IEEE-MTT-S Scholarship Award

Samet Zihir, one of our senior student in the Electronics Engineering Program, has been chosen to receive the IEEE-MTT-S Undergraduate/Pre-Graduate Scholarship, to be awarded Spring 2009, with his graduation project proposal in the area of RF Integrated Circuits and Systems. There are seven scholarship recipients this year, including students from Georgia Tech., University of Michigan, Universidad Politecnica de Valencia. This is also the third success of our Electronics Engineering students in this international scholarship program.



Samet Zihir, along with his colleague Ferhat Tasdemir from the same program, is now working on his graduation project at ihp-microelectronics in Germany.



We congratulate Samet for this award and wish him much success.
