Change in Biosafety Law and its 2 Implementing Regulations
The new Biosafety Law and its 2 implementing regulations will be
enacted on the 26th of September 2010.
The impacts of this Biosafety Law and its implementing regulations on
all aspects of molecular biology research and on researchers who work
in these fields; agricultural production and feed and food industry
will be discussed during the IV. Agricultural Biotechnology and
Biosafety Symposium that will be held on the 24th of September in
Sabancı University. Speakers from Turkey and abroad will also share
their experiences in other countries, as well as economical and
environmental impacts.
