Achivement of Can Aztekin
3rd year Biological Sciences and Bioengineering student Can Aztekin was accepted in Harvard Stem Cell Institute Internship Program during 10th June-16th August 2013 for 10 weeks. 18 students from Harvard University, 18 students from Iyvy league universities such as Columbia, Cornell Universities and and 3 students from overseas Universities have been accepted to this prestigious program. Can is the first student from Turkey among 3 overseas students who would participate in this vigorous training program in stem cell research and we congratulate him for his success.
Can has appreciated his mentors; Prof. Dr. Huveyda Basaga and Prof. Dr. Ugur Sezerman for his success and stated that it could not be possible without the guidance and help of PhD student Tuğce Ayca Tekiner. He has stated that he is very happy to participate in stem-cell research during this summer.
