Our students wiped out immunology awards

FENS graduate students win best poster awards at the 22. National Immunology Congress in Cesme, Izmir held on April 27-30, 2013! PhD student Nazli Keskin won the best poster award in the field of “Basic Immunology”, with her poster entitled: “Tümör Baskılayıcı p53 T Hücresi Gelişiminde İfade Edilen PATZ1’e Bağlanıyor”; PhD student Emre Deniz, won the best poster award in the field of “Tumor Immunology” with his poster entitled “CD4/CD8 T Lenfositlerinin Gelisiminde Önemli PATZ1 ile Tümör Baskılayıcı p53 Proteinlerinin Etkilesimi” and PhD/MSc students Bahar Shamloo, Gulperi Yalcin and Seyda Temiz, won the best poster award in the field of “Acquired Immunity” with their poster entitled “Bagısıklık Sisteminde Önemli Genlerde Mütasyon Için TALEN Teknolojisinin Kullanımı”. These awards entitle these students to attend the 2014 International Molecular Immunology & Immunogenetics Congress (MIMIC). These students are continuing their graduate work in Dr. Batu Erman’s lab at the Biological Sciences and Bioengineering Program of FENS.  We congratulate our graduate students!
