H. Budak was invited to serve as an Associate Editor of BMC Genomics

Hikmet Budak was invited to serve as an Associate Editor of "BMC Genomics" journal which is one of the high ranking genetics and genomics journal. BMC Genomics is an open access, a high standard of peer-reviewed journal that mainly cover all major subject areas within biology and medicine including genome-scale analysis, functional genomics, and proteomics. All articles published in BMC Genomics are included in PubMed, the most widely used biomedical bibliographic database service, which is run by the US National Library of Medicine. Other bibliographic databases that index articles published in it include Science Citation Index Expanded, BIOSIS, biological abstracts. It is tracked by Thomson Reuters (ISI) and has an Impact Factor of 4.40.
