IBM SmartCamp Istanbul is an exclusive regional event bringing together the best of the best startups who are developing business ventures that align with the IBM Smarter Planet vision from across Asia, Central Eastern Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

The event will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, and will gather leading venture capitalists, industry experts, journalists, serial entrepreneurs, startup support organizations, and academics to network and celebrate entrepreneurship.

The Istanbul event will feature eight startups from across Asia, Central Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Three of the eight startups will be selected as semi-finalists and will go on to compete with startups from across the world in the SmartCamp Global Finals event in San Francisco, California, 4-6 Feb 2014.
