Abstract: In the present talk we consider  hyperbolic type partial  differential equations for which we can find a general solution. A general solution is constructed by using so called $x$- and $n$-integrals. We discuss classification problem for such equations and possible generalizations to semi-discrete and discrete equations of hyperbolic  type.

Bio: Kostyantyn Zheltukhin did his Ph.D. in mathematics at Bilkent University under the supervision of Prof. Metin Gürses. He is now working as Associate Professor at Middle East Technical University. He mainly works on integrable systems.
