ENI AWARD, given by the Italian oil and gas company ENI with the aim of encouraging better use of energy sources and increased environmental research, has become not only a benchmark for applied research but also globally significant event for technological innovation in energy field.
About Amazon Research Awards
Amazon Research Awards (ARAs) are prestigious awards given since 2015 to support outstanding researchers and academicians who have excelled in their fields. ARA supports projects proposed by leading researchers in the prominent fields of Computer Science such as robotics, machine learning, AI, security and automated reasoning which are also Amazon's major fields of work. In total, more than 400 researchers from 150 universities in 28 countries have been awarded so far. This year, 26 researchers from 25 universities in 11 countries were found worthy of this prestigious award.
Hybrid Class System
We are already into the sixth week of hybrid/hi-flex education. We had a very strange couple of years, switching from one mode of teaching to another. Recently, we, CIAD, organized a series of meetings with a wide range of faculty members and discussed and shared our experiences with a focus on hybrid education.
